Leo has served in the United States Navy for the past 9 years. Prior to entering the Navy he grew up a military brat and moved 6 times before high school. He attended Montana State University and graduated with a BS in Kinesiology. After joining the Navy, Leo attended Special Operation Tactical Medic Program to later serve as a lead medic for two deployments with SEAL Team Five to the Pacific, Africa, and Arabian Peninsula.

After the Navy, Leo is attending the University of Michigan Ross School of Business where he plans to build on the skills learned in Naval Special Warfare for the past 9 years and build the best teams possible to solve the world's biggest problems in defense tech and venture capital.
