Flight School

Before enlisting in the Navy, Michael attended the University of Arizona where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. In 2015 he joined the Navy, and 18 months later graduated with BUD/S class 318. Following his graduation, he was stationed in Coronado, CA with SEAL Team 7. Over the course of 8 years, he completed two deployments to Iraq and Yemen. Michael is currently an instructor for SEAL Qualification Training (SQT), teaching close quarter assaults to incoming SEAL candidates.

Michael is happily married and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first child. With his family now growing, he has decided to transition into a career that will allow him an improved work-life balance. Michael has always been passionate about aviation and has decided to focus the next chapter of his life on pursuing that aspiration.
