Richard Rasco

Richard Rasco is a Naval Officer and US Navy SEAL with 14 years of service and ten deployments spanning the Middle East and Africa. While in the Navy, Richard worked on numerous tactical and strategic operations in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and Overseas Contingency Operations. He is transitioning to a career in business by way of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and hopes to work in entrepreneurial acquisition, particularly in the technology sector where he is focused on cyber security. Richard is looking for opportunities to apply private sector solutions to some of the issues he encountered while in the service. Born in Miami, Fl, Richard graduated from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School and attended the US Naval Academy. His military assignments include SEAL Team ONE, Special Boat Team TWENTY-TWO, and SEAL Team EIGHT. He is currently assigned to Naval Special Warfare Development Group, where he served as an Operations Officer, Troop Commander, and ultimately as a SEAL Squadron Executive Officer. Richard lives in Virginia Beach, Va with his wife, Lucy Bustamante Rasco, and four children, Reese (6), Alejandro (6), Carolina (3), and Nicolas (1). He will move to Philadelphia, PA this summer to begin Wharton.
