JACKSON S.

Jackson grew up in New England and enlisted in the Army during his senior year of high school. Soon after completing his initial entry training, Jackson was assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment. Over nearly seven years, he served in every position from Rifleman to Squad Leader and deployed four times to the Middle East.

Jackson has parachuted into the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, attended a myriad of military schools that encompass the entire spectrum of special operations proficiencies and is a recipient of the Purple Heart. He is always looking for something new to read, in the middle of a project or chasing a new fitness goal.

After transitioning from Active Duty to the National Guard, Jackson will be pursuing his undergraduate degree as a first year student at Harvard University. He is honored to be a Glen Doherty Scholarship recipient and hopes that his sense of curiosity and desire to learn will continue to grown on a university campus.
