Matt Stolpinski

Matt Stolpinski is a Massachusetts native and a 2008 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. While at the Naval Academy Matt twice achieved All-American honors as an NCAA Division I wrestler, and was honored to lead the team as captain his senior year. Upon graduation from the USNA and his commissioning as a Naval Officer, Matt successfully completed Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL training in 2009 with BUD/S Class 273. Over the past nine years, Matt has held extensive combat, tactical, and strategic leadership positions within the U.S. Navy SEAL community, joining SEAL Team Four and Support Activity Team Two before earning assignment to Naval Special Warfare Development Group. Matt’s experience varies from leading direct action combat missions to playing a critical role in the creation of Development Group’s Innovation Squadron, and includes deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and various other locations within the AFRICOM and CENTCOM theaters. Upon transitioning from active duty in 2018, Matt will continue to serve in the SEAL Reserves while attending the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, focusing on a career in Management Consulting or Private Equity. In his free time Matt enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Kara, and their rambunctious golden retriever.
