Sean C.

Sean is an active duty member of the United States Naval Special Warfare community. He spent a year and a half in the Middle East conducting contingency operations, and an additional two years working with interagency partners throughout Central America.

Motivated by the complex problems he has encountered in his service, Sean is pursuing a degree in International Relations at Georgetown University’s Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service. His region of study is the Middle East with a concentration on Iran and conflict. He will earn a minor in Persian, and has oriented his curriculum towards and in-depth study of regional history and security challenges. Sean intends to synchronize an understanding of language, culture, politics, and an understanding of the security environment to make well-informed high-stakes decisions. Upon graduating, Sean will continue to serve within the Naval Special Warfare community and hopes to employ his newly acquired regional knowledge in a way that benefits the team and mission.

He is a husband and loving father. Sean comes from a rich family history of military service. Sean is greatly appreciative of the sacrifice that military families make in the name of their loved one’s service to country. He is profoundly honored to “carry the weight” of Glen’s legacy into the future.
