SEAL, US Navy - 8 years of service
UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine - MD
Casey is a medical school student at UCLA's David Geffen's School of Medicine. He obtained his B.S. in Biochemistry from Temple University. His ultimate goal is to become an orthopedic surgeon where he can continue to serve the people, here in the United States. Casey graduated BUDs class 293 before joining SEAL Team Four where he deployed to politically sensitive environments as a translator and communications expert in support of the Global War on Terrorism. He finished up his time as a Lead Instructor in the Land Warfare training division where he taught rockets, explosives, automatic weapons, and battlefield tactics.
Witnessing the medics’ proficiency, confidence, and calm demeanor inspired Casey to pursue his new career. He admired the dedication and hard-work required to become a physician and knew he could live up to the task. He hopes to use scientific thinking to advance the field of medicine and improve the lives of those he operates on in the future. Casey is honored to be an Ambassador for the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation.
