Amanda Berling
Amanda lives in Glen's hometown of Winchester, MA and has been running our Annual 5K/10K Road Race for years with her family. She has run a couple of marathons before and is looking forward to representing Team GDMF in NYC!

James Christine
Since leaving the Marine Corps, James has done a physical challenge every year to focus on his fitness and mental health during his own transition out of the service. Running his first marathon will give him something to work towards outside of work/school. Raising money to help other military members is providing James with a purpose that matters.

David Chung
David is looking forward to the physical and mental challenge of running his first marathon, while raising awareness of the GDMF in the NYC area. David is an avid supporter of veterans and is looking forward to helping out our Special Operations Community.

Jenna Convery
Jenna served in the Navy from 2018 to 2023. She is passionate about improving veteran welfare and believes that every single veteran should be taken care of. Jenna is a runner, but this is her first marathon, joining Team GDMF from Florida!

Michael Haydanek
Mike lives in NYC and is looking forward to his first marathon there! He heard about the GDMF Foundation from a good friend who ran with Team GDMF last year and wants to continue the work he already does supporting veterans.

Janiffer Pearce
Janiffer is joining Team GDMF from California and has supported active duty and retired military personnel with pro bono legal work. She has run a marathon before and is looking forward to being part of Team GDMF in NYC!
About Team GDMF NYC 2024!
We have 5 charity bibs for the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025.
Our goal is to hit $40,000 to provide scholarships to members of our Special Operations Community, like Glen. Glen was a former Navy SEAL, killed in Benghazi, Libya when our American Consulate was attacked by terrorists. We established the Foundation to honor Glen, his love for life and dedication to this country.
THE GOAL
- To raise $40,000 for the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation and in true Glen fashion, bring together great people for a good time!

Please note: All entry fees and accommodations must be paid for by the participants. Hotel rooms can be reserved for our out of town runners; however, expenses must be paid by the participant.
