Our Scholarship Application for the 2024-25 academic year is closed.
The application cycle for the 2025-26 year will open on May 1, 2025.
The Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation provides scholarships to current and former Special Operations professionals for traditional education and professional training/certification to help with the transition from military to civilian careers. With funds raised from our events, individual donors and corporate sponsors, we have awarded
135 Scholarships
to date, totaling
OVER $1,000,000!
These scholarships were awarded to deserving individuals for undergraduate college education, medical school, business school, law school, physician's assistant programs, undergraduate and graduate degrees, commercial pilot licensing, state police training and more! How to Apply
The GDMF Scholarship Application process for the 2024 - 25 academic year is closed. Scholarship applications are open from May 1 to June 15 each year and award decisions are made each August. All applicants will be notified as to our decision and recipients will hear directly from a member of our Scholarship Committee. Scholarships funds are sent shortly afterward.
