Another Glen Doherty Memorial 5K/10K Road Race is in the books! Thank you to everyone who participated in some way - whether you ran, walked, rucked, volunteered, sponsored, donated or spectated this year's road race, we appreciate you all and hope you enjoyed the day!


Congratulations to our overall winners!

  • 10K: Turner Zamore (33:21.7) and Kamila Haieva (39:12.5)
  • 5K: Shamus Brady (17:31.9) and Nadja Yacker (19:19.3)
  • Ruck: Rick Melanson (29:33.8)
  • Team: HCC (1:53:41.2 - cumulative time)

Race Details

Start Date/Time/Place

Sunday, September 21st at 12PM

Race starts in front of the Winchester Town Hall (71 Mount Vernon St), immediately after a few words from GDMF President (and Glen's sister) Kate Doherty Quigley, a GDMF scholar and our national anthem.


Pricing

  • Early bird registration until July 10: $35 for Adults | $25 for Kids (under 18)
  • Online registration until 12PM September 20: $45 for Adults | $25 for Kids (under 18)
  • In person registration race weekend: $55 for Adults | $25 for Kids (under 18)

 

T-Shirts

FREE race t-shirts to 1st 500 registered participants

T-shirts and other merch will also be available for purchase race weekend, at bib pick up times.


Route

We are using the same route as 2023 & 2024 - check out the map!

All 10K participants will run this loop twice!


Ruck Division

Have you tried rucking yet?  To learn more about rucking and to purchase gear for training and the race, visit GORUCK.  All registered ruckers receive an official GDMF GORUCK patch.

Street parking is available in downtown Winchester and in the lots by the Winchester Center MBTA station, McCall Middle School and Winchester High School.
