University of Colorado - Doctorate of Physical Therapy
Alex M served as a Naval Officer and US Navy SEAL for the past thirteen years. He grew up in the city of Texarkana, Texas and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2011. Upon graduation and commissioning, Alex successfully completed Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL training in 2012 with Class 291. Over the last decade, Alex has held numerous operational and tactical leadership roles with various deployed elements across the Middle East, Africa, South America, and Europe. In addition, he has worked with foreign leaders, ambassadors, and senior US military officials to drive US policy and deter strategic competitors in these regions.
Alex is now pivoting his career and is currently attending the University of Colorado’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. He will complete the program over the next two and a half years and is focused on the sports and neurological physical therapy settings to prevent and treat chronic injuries in collegiate athletes. Alex currently lives in Colorado Springs with his wife, Christine, and son, Jackson. They enjoy exploring the Rocky Mountains and spending time outdoors with their two dogs, Sammy and Pepper.
