Andrew's journey in public service began at West Point, where he earned a B.S. in International Relations and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in 2014. Upon commissioning, he was first assigned to Fort Bragg, NC, where he served as a Rifle Platoon Leader and Scout Platoon Leader in the 82nd Airborne Division. In 2016, Andrew underwent assessment and was selected to serve in the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. Here, he led a Special Operations Ranger Rifle Platoon and deployed to Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan.
In 2019, Andrew attended the Special Forces Qualification Course, earning the Green Beret in 2021. As a Green Beret, he led a Special Forces Detachment (Alpha) in the 10th Special Forces Group, specializing in combat diving operations and deploying to Europe. Subsequently, he served in a joint intelligence task force before concluding his service in July 2024.
Presently, Andrew is enrolled at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business alongside his wife, Kayla. He is determined to cultivate the skills and business acumen necessary to eventually return to the Rocky Mountains and contribute as a leader in business, focusing on supporting rural communities across the Rocky Mountain region.
