BRENT G.

Brent is an active duty member of the United States Navy Special Warfare Command. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Ca. He lived a life in the water from an early age while surfing, swimming, and playing water polo. Residing in Virginia Beach, he still enjoys the love for the ocean and plays in or around it with his wife and son as much as they can. Brent has completed six deployments in support of the Global War on Terror. He is the recipient of multiple Bronze Star Medals, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and many other personal and unit awards. Brent plans to make a career out of the military by serving at least another 5+ years. Brent joined the Navy while in the first year of college feeling the need to serve his country while also following his dreams. He recently finished his undergraduate degree receiving his Bachelor’s in Science within Organizational Leadership from The University of Charleston in West Virginia. While still serving on active duty, Brent plans to complete and earn his Master’s in Organizational Leadership from The Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academics Program. Brent’s knowledge and experience gained from former leaders both in and out of the field helped shape who he is today and has provided him with lessons in which he strives to teach the next generation.
