Navy SEAL - 8.5 years of service

West Virginia University School of Medicine - MD

Born and raised in rural Spokane, Washington, Brentyn’s journey embodied a spirit of service from the onset. Enlisting in the Navy immediately after graduating high school in 2015, he embraced a legacy of familial dedication to the uniform. With the steadfast ambition to serve as a Navy SEAL, Brentyn’s path led him through the grueling challenges of BUD/s and SQT, graduating with class 322.

His commitment to excellence extended beyond his training, as evidenced by the completion of the Army’s rigorous Special Operations Combat Medic course (SOCM) before embarking on two deployments with SEAL Team Eight. It was during this training that Brentyn’s passion for medicine took root, later leading to him to establish himself as a plank owner of Naval Special Warfare’s Tactical Medical Training cell (TACMED).

After dedicating over eight years of service as a SEAL, Brentyn now charts a new course towards healing and empowerment. Staring school at West Virginia University School of Medicine Class of 2028, he embarks on a transformative journey toward becoming a physician.

Upon graduation, Brentyn eagerly anticipates returning to active duty service in the Navy, armed not only with medical expertise but also with a profound commitment to his fellow service members. Driven by a passion for patient-centered care, he aspires to deliver comprehensive and compassionate healthcare, ensuring that those who serve receive the highest standard of support and health.
