I’ve been chasing an adventurous life of service since I lived with my parents. Six years at SEAL team 1 taught me new forms of honorable adventure that serve my community, specifically in medicine. After using my veteran education benefits and support from GDMF to complete a bachelor’s in Behavioral Neuroscience, I am now working on my master’s degree as a Physician Assistant as part of Lock Haven University’s 2022 class. This school concentrates on preparing advanced practitioners for rural care, much like my work as a SEAL medic did. Healing my brothers was my favorite part of being a team guy and now I get to be that same guy in any community in the United States. I’m thrilled to finish this step of the journey and serve the American communities that the expressways haven’t reached, where the trees still grow and the rivers still flow.
