Daniel grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland Ohio, where he enjoyed spending time outdoors and playing ice hockey. He went on to attend The Ohio State University and study Civil Engineering, during which time he developed an interest in the military. He wound up enlisting in the Navy immediately following graduation.
Daniel graduated with BUD/S class 318 went on to become a combat medic. He spent 6 years on SEAL Team Ten, where he deployed once to South America and twice to East Africa. His experience includes training and advising partner forces, treating wounded host nation soldiers, planning and executing forward staged advisory missions, and leading small elements through intense training evolutions.
Daniel is currently serving in Virginia Beach as an advanced combat diving instructor. He is also working on his MBA at Duke, the Fuqua School of Business. A recent father, he spends his free time with his wife and new daughter, golfing, or enjoying the outdoors.
