Dominic Cerrillo was born on October 9, 1995 in Oceanside, California to Dan Cerrillo and Jamie Gilman. My father was a Seal in the U.S. Navy. He served in the Navy from 1994 to 2004, during which time he served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan receiving many medals including a bronze star. My mother was born and raised in Oceanside, California. She attended UC Santa Barbara on a four year scholarship for academics, graduating with a double major in both Business Economics and MathematicsI grew up in Southern California attending Tri-City High School all four years. During high school, I played football and basketball and volunteered at various charitable organizations, including the Bread of Life food kitchen. Upon graduation from high school, I was accepted to the University of Washington, where I have just completed my second year. I plan to obtain my Bachelor’ degree from UW.
