Jessica Ehret was born and raised primarily in San Diego, California and graduated from Coronado High School in 2021. She will enter UCLA in the fall to study neuroscience as part of a pre-med path. Jessica also plans to minor in French Language and Culture and study abroad as soon as Covid-19 restrictions are lifted. She loves sports, running three seasons on the high school cross country and track teams and serving as a Co-Captain her junior year. She also enjoys the outdoors, hiking or skiing whenever possible. Jessica grew up in a Navy family and is the daughter of two career Navy officers. She is very proud of her Navy heritage and aims to serve, if not in the military, then as a civilian physician. Jessica is very honored to be awarded the GDMF scholarship and carry forth Glen’s legacy of saving lives as she pursues a future in medicine.
