Justin Paul Clapper

Justin is currently a student at Columbia Business School. Originally from San Diego, CA, after receiving his commission from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Justin served in a variety of leadership and operational positions in the U.S. Navy, first as a Navy Surface Warfare Officer and then a Navy Seal Officer. Justin left the U.S. Navy after nearly a decade of service in March, 2019 and was selected for the Goldman Sachs Veteran Integration Program. He then spent the spring of 2019 with Goldman Sachs’ Consumer Retail Group where he worked on several projects including the pre-IPO deal Team for Peloton Interactive, Inc. Justin spent the summer of 2019 working as a retail operations intern for Ever/Body, Inc, a Venture-backed, consumer dermatology start-up whose mission is to democratize access to cosmetic dermatology. He enjoys surfing, reading, exploring New York, and traveling with his wife, Sara.
