Stephen is a Master Sergeant in the United States Army who is currently serving on active duty in the United States Army Special Operations Command. During his 18+ year career, he has served through various positions in the Special Operations Community ranging from Team Member through Team Sergeant. He has also commanded outstations of hundreds of soldiers from allied nations. He has additionally deployed 13 times to Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and Israel. Due to some unforeseen health problems, Stephen is no longer operational and has decided to use this bump in the road as an opportunity to further his education in preparation for the eventuality of life after the military.

In December of 2023, Stephen earned his baccalaureate degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Charleston, West Virginia. In July of 2024, he began the Global Executive MBA Program at Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.

Stephen is a very focused and driven individual and these days, spends his free time learning the ins and outs of the business industry, as well as planning for his future.  Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, he currently resides in Southern Pines, North Carolina and is stationed at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
