Thomas Roache is a medical student, combat veteran, and experienced public servant who has specialized in providing assistance to communities and individuals facing incredibly challenging circumstances. Over his twenty-year career, Thomas has played leadership roles in a wide variety of public service initiatives, including economic and social development, education, health and medical, environmental, and emergency/disaster response.
As a Special Forces Medical Sergeant, Thomas served two tours and was awarded the Bronze Star. Most recently, Thomas volunteered in Ukraine as a battlefield medicine instructor to new conscripts headed to the front lines.
A lifelong learner, Thomas holds degrees in art, philosophy and, soon, medicine. As a practicing physician, Thomas intends to leverage his past experiences towards the expansion of care access to underserved communities throughout the country and the globe.
